Stunning view

We got the romantic suite for our anniversary and it was a beautiful big room. It had a balcony that had a perfect view of the castle. The staff were so nice, and helpful.

Cosy hotel near the castle.

The place is amazing. Cosy small hotel with nice views to the Neuschwanstein Castle. Walking distance to town center and restaurants and shops. Has a spa area with steam room and relaxation grotto. Comfortable beds and very quiet area. There’s a school next to it but we stayed over a weekend, so not sure how noisy it will be when school is in session. For sure will stay again in the future.

We were in awe of the castle upon first sight. And it felt like Disneyland, but much more real, when we saw the castle from the hotel. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and wonderful! The room was amazing! We hope we can come back some day!

A great retreat

It’s a beautiful property with a garden, outdoor sitting area and sauna. Our room has a small balcony and spectacular view of hohenschwangau castle. The breakfast has a good selection of cheese, cold cuts, smoked salmon, yogurt, sausage, eggs, bacon and bread basket. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The paid parking is easy and secure.

Poor Customer Service

Overall this was a great property. Only complaint left a real sour taste in my mouth. Our Castle entrance reservation was 9am but breakfast doesn't open until 8am. The night before, Sabina, at the front desk, told us to come to breakfast 15 minutes early, at 7:45am so we could grab a bite to eat and still be on time for our tickets to the castle. She said she would let the morning staff know. The woman the next morning could not have been more rude to us as she said "breakfast doesn't open until 8am and to come back at 8am". We explained that we were following the directions of Sabina and that we had a 9am ticket to the castle. She didn't care and again, was very rude. We did not ask for special treatment - it was offered by the hotel and then we were treated horribly for doing what we were told to do. The worst part - breads and cereals were already sitting out ready to go. She could have told us to help ourselves but that coffee would need to wait a couple of minutes while she finished setting up. Or something similar. There were so many possible ways to handle this and accommodate us without treating us so poorly. As I said, left a bad taste in my mouth for what was mostly a great property.

Beautiful hotel in centre of town so really easy to get to the shuttle buses for the castles Staff were really friendly and helpful Breakfast was excellent Room was beautiful and well appointed however it was hot at night and the air conditioning was so loud we had to turn it off and open the windows
