Lovely suite for two people in a great location.

Great location in Reykjavik. Easy access to parking in the Tradarkot parking garage. It is a nice sized suite with everything we needed including a kitchenette with: sink, dishwasher, microwave, stove top, mini fridge and washer/dryer which was so helpful. Changes I would suggest are to add some nonslip mats in the shower and bathroom as the floor tiles, while beautiful, are quite slick. And a fan for summer.

We wanted to be immersed in the Dutch culture & this property felt like we were. I traveled with my 2 adult daughters so wanted more space than a small hotel room. The bedroom contained 2 single beds & the living room had a pull out couch & all were very comfortable for sleeping. The kitchen area had everything needed for our stay.

Nice Apartment in Poor Immediate Surroundings

Nicely designed unit well located yet quietly tucked away from the main drag. There were a few minor issues like a broken shade pull, empty or broken shower dispenser (random other bottled products were either provided or left behind by other guests) and a bathroom light that repeatedly turns off during the course of showering, requiring nearly stepping out repeatedly in complete darkness to activate the motion sensor/light activator (our particular sensor did not feature the on/off/auto switch on the bottom described in the online apartment guide). The biggest issue is the condition of the building’s surroundings and approach to the unit, which gives a really poor impression upon first arrival – lots of trash, random pots and other items in poor condition, weeds, and many rocks across the stairway (looks like years of accumulation) which you must navigate carefully to avoiding slipping on for a bad fall! In addition, the common trash bins are quite nasty and nearby graffiti and other negatives give an unsafe impression. One guest was overheard saying he hoped their car was still there in the morning.

Great location. Close to transportation and all shops and restaurants. My unit, lights were dim. Beds were comfortable. Couch and carpet needed a cleaning or freshener. Bathroom and kitchenette was nice and clean. Overall place was nice just needs attention to detail.

It was easy to communicate with host via email and phone. The apartment is in a great location. We arrived early AM and was able to store bags at What’s On tourist information center just a few steps away. We would stay here again.

Great location and easy to get to places on foot. Appartment is well-equipped . When we did have an issue, the CS team were helpful. Would be happy to stay there again despite there being 4 of us and not masses of space but that is not to detract from a wonderful stay in Reykjavik.

The inside was very clean and the beds were comfy. It needed another stool or chair for the eating table and more hooks in the bathroom for clean clothes. It was very difficult to find because of construction scaffolding around a building at the entrance to the courtyard. Convenient to Bus stop # 6 and lots of shopping. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed staying at Ice Apartments. The location is superior! The apartment is very comfortable, clean and well supplied. We got good instructions on where to park also. We highly recommend this accommondation! Only thing missing is an oven which would bring more options to cooking.

The front yard looked horrendous. No oven and the stove did not work properly. The toilet did not flush properly. There was no table to sit and eat at! Only two toilet paper rolls, by far not enough for this long of a stay for four persons. Super humid and moist inside the apartment, no air con or did not work properly. Very noisy inside from the streets The bed sofa was horrible.

The property is in a great location near restaurants and stores and was in excellent condition. The kitchen was perfect and came stocked with coffee. It was not easy to fine upon arrival but once we found it, it was great. The only complaint is the comforters could have been cleaner.

This apartment is located in a great spot, easily walk able to many things. It is also quite near Bus Stop 6 which made it easy to be picked up and dropped off for tours and trips out of the city. Having a heated towel rack and the washer/dryer combination turned out to be an excellent added bonus as we were able to dry out our wet clothes quickly so that we didn't miss out on any time to adventure.

The property was excellent and as described and an excellent value. I was very impressed with all of the amenities provided and the ease of getting around the key part of Reykjavik. Checking in was a breeze and easy to get immediate access to the location. There was a little confusion on my part of locating the building since it is located in the middle of the block, all worked out great. I would definitely recommend this property if visiting Reykjavik and you enjoy the non-hotel experience.

The apartment was under the stairs, and we had to look around to find it. The locks were just fine. The location is excellent. We would definitely come back. We had asked for a one-bedroom and got a studio with a foldout couch and twin beds in an alcove. I think this was listed as a one-bedroom. Many setups like this are listed as 1 bedroom. The bathroom like did not turn off even after 2 workmen "fixed' it. We got 1 hand towel and 2 bath towels. the staff was responsive, but we should have had adequate towels when we arrived. The TV worked and you could watch many different programs. There were some cooking equipment and dining ware. The staff and workmen were very nice and pleasant.

Great place to stay in Reykajavik

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. It was clean, well stocked and had everything you could want for a short stay (microwave, stove, fridge, coffee machine, etc). It was a really cool apartment close to tons of restaurants, bars and a 24 hour parking structure. The bathroom light was a bit confusing and not intuitive to use (it's on a sensor) but they had an online manual that you can access once inside that explained how it worked. We also had a tough time finding the building - it is behind the buildings on the street, in a sort of court yard. But again, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again

Perfect location and nicely done rooms

We really enjoyed our stay. The property location was excellent - right in the center of town at the beginning of the rainbow road and easy walk to the waterfront. The building is in the middle of a city block so no view, and noisy, but that was fine with us in exchange for a city-center location. While the outside of the building looks a little more worn than in the pictures and there was graffiti by the entrance, our unit was very nicely done and clean and comfortable. The kitchenette and washing machine were so useful! It was also very close to bus stop #6 which we used to be picked up and dropped off from out tours. We would definitely stay there again!

Quite comfortable. Location is a major benefit (close to the Rainbow street). Some idiosyncrasies with the automatic bathroom lighting not coming on (some instructions are provided to redress), and maybe the cushions on the couch could do with some repair. But, minor inconveniences in an otherwise pleasant and comfortable (and reasonably priced) stay. Check in and check out were very easily done with easy to follow instructions. Amenities and sights very nearby. Recommended.
