Beautiful views of the Aegean Sea, good spacious rooms and a great beach club on the property!! We had a great time at Vega. We booked the junior suite which has a balcony overlooking the sea. The rooms are good and upgraded. Breakfast was served everyday and was made to order and included many local fresh items. We loved spending time at the beach club with access to the sea to swim and relax. They have a beach side bar and lunch restaurant too which was great for cocktails and fresh seafood! We had a car and there is parking on the property. We also visited Gumusluk which is a lovely fishing village just 10 mins away. Overall it was a great stay!

Do Not Stay Here

This hotel is not as advertised at all and there is NO beach, NO restaurant, No bar, NO gym, and NO amenities. The reason we chose this hotel instead of staying in Bodrum town was because we’d have access to the restaurant and beach, both of which were closed in late May. Instead we had to drive 45 minutes into Bodrum to visit the beach, wasting time. The hotel was not clean and only came with 1 roll of toilet paper. There was dirt all over the floor of the room and in the lobby. I understand if it was early in the season. But simply put a statement on the website or send an email saying “hotel amenities are closed, however you can still rent the room.” I’ve never felt more mislead and disappointed from a hotel before. Do yourself a favor and Bodrum town so that you’re closer to shops, beaches and restaurants.

Amazing Spot

Overall, a fantastic stay. The view is stunning, and the rooms and walkways very charming. A few minor downsides to be aware of are that: 1. The price reserved on hotels.com was not what I paid as I had to pay a commission fee from the turkish bank they use - not a huge amount but I would have preferred to pay upfront. 2. For such a gorgeous place, they could do so much better by having a decent chef - the food wasn't anything special (we ate out in the evenings, but the Turkish breakfast could be so easily improved). Otherwise pretty perfect!

Haben diese Unterkunft für eine Nacht gebucht. Haben ein Apartment bekommen, was sehr dreckig war und Insekten überall waren. Auf dem Bett waren Insekten. Haben dann unser Zimmer gewechselt. Das zweite Zimmer sah genauso aus wir konnten kaum schlafen.

AVOID THIS HOTEL, here is why? I'll keep it short and precise for you: GENERAL - outdated facility, needs lots of restoration; be ready for lots of steps (and they are uneven); roads leading to the facility is in bad condition FRONT DESK - friendly people but have absolutely no decision making power to meet your needs (meaning they are bound with a hotel manager who is not visible and seems like a greedy person "willing to make just money with minimal or no returns for customer satisfaction" ROOM - our 2 bedroom apart was in poor condition with missing tiles around the flat (main entry, bathroom), the veranda was very dirty (women hair stuck on chair legs, very dusty table etc. clearly the room was kept with bare minimum cleaning) THERE IS NO WI-FI IN THE ROOM!!! And also there was no hand soap, too. We asked twice for soap which was not delivered. CONCLUSION - after 15 minutes to check into our room, I went to reception to ask for an alternative room: they had 2 hotel rooms for an additional 1200 liras, which became a bargaining case by the representative while she dropped the fee eventually to 1000 and finally to 600 only if we declined having the breakfast. Total scam! Since there is no kitchenette in hotel room, not having breakfast sounds pretty rude, especially considering that upon her request of what she (reception rep) could do to improve our situation (we had already asked for complimentary breakfast!) NEVER AGAIN! Good luck to you!
