It was so pleasure for us to stay and experience Japanese culture in the hotel. Very surprised with their friendlyness- so nice and kind. Driver Ken was the nicest person we've ever met. とても満足で、ここを選んで良い旅となり感謝しています。 ひとり旅でした。湯布院のインバウンド客の騒々しさから逃げるようにして、ホテルへ。 滞在中、他の宿泊客と顔をあわせず気配も感じないのが何よりの良さでした。貸し切り状態の温泉もお食事も個室だったので、特に一人旅には有難く、心地よかったです。 お食事などは他の方のレビューにある通り良いものでしたので省きますが、 私は朝食のとき個室に暖房が入っていたのに、特に感動しました。4月末で不要かと思ったら、 まさに「あたたかい」もてなしで、落ち着いて食事ができて、暖房は良かった。 日暮れていく外を見ながらコース料理を堪能し、朝は鳥のさえずりを聞きながら、おいしいフレンチトーストを頂くのは、本当に非日常の心洗われる滞在でした。 英国洋館のつくりながら、浴衣が選べたり、 お食事に箸が使えたり、和洋折衷のサービスも良かった。 大分に行くことがあればまた宿泊したいです。 ◆後から知ったのですが、ペット同伴okのホテルなのですね。私はペットは苦手で、もしも、ペットの鳴き声とかペット特有の問題があったら、残念なことになったかも。このホテルの静けさが何よりの贅沢ポイントだったので。次回訪れるとしたらそれだけが気がかりです。 と お食事のときも 、夕食も朝食ももちろん温泉もあります。 他に宿泊客とも会わなかったので満喫できました。

洋館で少し古さは感じますがきれいに掃除は行き届いていたと思います。温泉は貸切用と共用があり、大きくはありませんが充分温泉を楽しめました。食事はとても美味しくて妻は食べきれないほどだったので残してしまったのがとても申し訳なく感じています。そして何よりもスタッフの方の優しい感じがとても良かったです。

Excellent hotel and the price is fair. Staff can speak English, the view is great, they offer private onsen for free (subject to availability), which not many hotels will offer. They also offer shuttle to travel between Yufuin station and hotel for free.
