Staff services were amazingly good and helpful. You need to place a deposit 1000baht so keep aside that cash. Went for elephant tour and kitchen was able to prepare breakfast to-go at 7am, very happy with the eggs and toast. Housekeeping was good and honest! I threw away a bag (left it beside the rubbish bin) and didn't expect housekeeping staff to check the bag compartments, she found some cash in there and returned to me immediately whilst I was at reception/check out. Really grateful for that integrity and honesty! Located along the busy street so you do get some noise from the traffic and people at night. Room is not the biggest but decent size. Water pressure is good. Hotel provides two bottles of water daily. Check out blue coffee.

Amazing service five stars

I will stay here again next time I visit. The hotel is outstanding with the quality of their service. My room was beautifully decorated for a special occasion. The staff were helpful with everything, local recommendations, tours, and we never waited for anything we needed. The noodle breakfast was delicious and they even made us 2 breakfasts to take away so we could make the 7:30 am tour departure. We left feeling wow these people are wonderful!

We came to Chiang Mai for the week and had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff were all very kind and greeted us each day. They are staffed 24/7 so any time we had a question they were able to assist. We purchased breakfast included which was a great idea- they have a variety of dishes to eat (the fried rice was amazing). The hotel and our room were very clean. This hotel was a great location. It was about a 15 minute walk to the night market and very close to the Sunday night market. Also, since it is in the old city- pick up for most tours is free. I really enjoyed being able to walk outside and see the old city walls and the moat. I would truly recommend this hotel to who ever is looking to stay in the old city.

The staff were amazing; super friendly and helpful, concerned about me when I missed a free breakfast (and let me know I can request a box breakfast if I can't make breakfast in person). The hotel and room was super clean, and the little cafe in the restaurant was superb. The location was incredible - right in old Chiang Mai, walking distance to tons of great restaurants, pubs, Saturday Night Market, Sunday Market, must see temples (like Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh), and of course massage everywhere. The only concern I'd note is that the listing on Expedia says they provide laundry service - they do not. This wasn't a problem though, there is a great (clean, comfortable) little laundrymat just a 4 minute walk down the road. But the expedia listing should be corrected for accuracy. We (my wife and I) loved our stay at this little hotel.

Exceptional stay at this lovely property in the heart of the old town during the Loy Kratong festival in November. I have have never stayed anywhere where the staff truly make you feel beyond welcome and will do anything to make sure your stay is exceptional. They surprised me the first morning after breakfast by having all of the staff sing me happy birthday and surprised me with a full cake. You could tell it meant so much to their staff that it brought me to tears. The hotel is right on the moat of the old town and steps away from the old Tape Gate. Great location for enjoying the festival although because it’s in the heart of the action it was hard to fall asleep with everyone lighting off fireworks and celebrating until the wee hours of the morning. I would also say that the one downfall of the hotel stay was how hard the bed and pillows were. As my husband would say it was like sleeping on a hay bail. The staff did their best to find us softer pillows but it was a hard sleep. The included breakfast was simple yet good and the restaurant was great for a refreshing drink and snack in the afternoon or late evening although I never had a full dinner there. Beautiful property but the staff is truly what makes it shine.
