This place should be shut down by the BBB. It was so rundown and unsafe and dirty NO ONE SHOULD STAY THERE. THIS IS MY SECOND TIME WRITING THIS REVIEW. I want a refund.!!!!!!!!!

The ceiling in the room was falling down, cracked, holes around electric recepticles.
Very difficult to open and lock the entry door. The sliding glass door would not open.

You had to work at it to get the balcony door open, there was zero ice, and there was zero hot water, fridge barely works and tv was small. There was no way to plug the tub up so my daughters could take a bath and black mold everywhere. Overall a horrible experience.

That place needs to be bulldozed down! I could write a book about how awful it is. The roof leaks, the bathtub felt like it would fall through the floor, the sliding glass door did not lock and we had to manually pick the door up to open it, the front door lock was so bad that someone could easily just pull it open, the heater did not work, the floors stay damp and slippery, and it just felt gross! The staff was very nice, polite, and friendly!

The room was not up to standard. It’s a no smoking room and had a full ashtray behind the dresser. The floor between the beds was filthy with debris on the floor. The hood vent to the stove was full and needed replacing the doors were print and dirt stained. The deadbolt was rusted and showing the internal parts. When brought to the management/owner the team became defensive. The next morning we got apologies and were asked to show the housekeeping team what our issues were.they were told I am allergic to cigarette smoke so I wa pretty miserable. Once they were shown the issues it was repaired but we were only there 3 nights. No room switch was offered l. We appreciated the attention but it could have been looked at immediately and we later learned there were other rooms to switch to.

No one to check in with. Sign said back in ten, which they were. No real hotel sign outside:( desk clerk was nice & polite. Room stank of something. Walls are paper thin. Main door only had lock and key with deadbolt. But door was rotted out on bottom. Sliding door to beach, would not slide. Once opened prayed to get it shut. Fridge rusted on front no outlets available for recharging Could go on. It is an antiquated hotel which needs lots of rehab for a good price on the beach.

This place is an absolute dump. We reserved two rooms. Both were deplorable. After check in we were informed the property had no hot water. The elevator was broken and the property overall is dirty and unkept. We arrived to our room with a door that was barely able to lock. The ceiling fan broken, patio door handle falling off on the inside and completely missing from the outside, the sliding door wouldn’t open wider than 6 inches, then wouldn’t close, tiles along the balcony were crushed with cement pieces and rocks visible underneath, and the room smelled heavy of stale cigarettes. When my husband went to the office to tell them how disgusting the room was we were given no options. We decided to leave after being there no more than 20min. After loading up our cars and kids, the office staff member came out and offered to switch our rooms. We explained filthy and unsafe the property is and denied the room change; considering no rooms on property had hot water. This place makes hotels.com look bad. It was easily the worst hotel experience we have ever had and almost ruined our day. Thankfully we found another hotel (Perry’s) which was wonderful.

The rooms were nasty to say the least, this motel should have been condemned a long time ago, showers drain and Di dryers don’t work, shower tubs chopped with rust, bed sheets with stains, comforters ripped. The two male front desk clerks were very nice! But the hotel is TROUBLE! The refrigerator leaked water from the top into the bottom which ruined food we had. There were cockroaches the sliding glass door didn’t shut all the way. We ran out to bath tissue and had to buy some because the front office was closed the tv way leaning the floors were dirty! It was a lot of arguing at night from long term guests let’s just say women of the night and their guests…

The front desk guy was super nice, speedy check in. We went to our room and immediately found German cockroaches in the kitchen area, coming out from the sink drain and behind the tile. Walking further into the room, I pulled back the comforter and noticed ants in the bed. The plaster on the ceiling above the bed looks to be falling. Holes in the walls. I didn’t expect much for $65 but I don’t expect bugs in any room I pay for. We were there for all of maybe 10 minutes before going back to the desk and checking out.

Neither doors to outside locked properly. Most electrical outlets were inoperable. Provided a coffee machine with no coffee. Very dirty furniture and stove. Beach access was closed off. No beach. Two staff members were friendly. One was half asleep and rude when we approached him at the front desk. Comfort level of bed was not bad, but pillows were terrible. Quite disappointed and disgusted.
