Host was welcoming and helpful when we had questions. Place was clean, we had a nice view of the water, it was a great location, close to the town but not right in town (5 min walk). Also a super quick walk to markets, coffee shops and restaurants.

The room was disgusting as it had roaches on the kitchen countertop. The kitchen sink backed up, neither kitchen sink or bathroom sink had hot running water. The shower hot water was inoperable. Needless to say the rickety doors to the outside I never felt safe leaving my personal belongings. Now here is the BIG hitter the construction outside was so loud the machines started every morning right at 7am and with the doors not being very secure or the windows the noise came right through so if you’re going there for R&R this is not the place to go. I would recommend the place across the street if you’re looking for a nice quiet place with great food and a beautiful view.

Very noisy due to construction. Shower slidding door didn’t work and small sink was inconvenient to use. Stairs safety hand rail was not firm and felt unsafe. Stairs were too steep and unsafe going to second floor beds . TV didn’t offer channel variety and remote control didn’t operate. Overall it was a poor experience which I will not repeat.

We wont be back...ever.

Booked for a week based on the online appearance. No bedding, just sheets. The air conditioner was set to 24 permanantly. Room never cooled down. Kitchen almost toy-like. Bathroom rediculous and nasty. Traffic noise intollarable. Whole street smells of open sewer. No parking as advertised. We left after one night and were charged for the whole week. Sad. Maybe remove the dirty, old piano and fix the tiny kitchen and bathroom with the space you gain.

Very basic stay. Try for a second story room. First floor has no furniture for outside seating, the interior court is very small and your other option puts you basically on the side walk. We took dining rooms chairs to there. 2nd floor rooms had balconies with furniture. Laundry service was outstanding. Having a kitchen was a bonus but limited tools available. A strainer for pasta (a travellers staple) would have been nice. Also what was left of a melted spatula made it tough to flip anything in the pan. Coffee maker and blender looked pretty new. Air conditioner didn’t go below 24c. Was pretty warm. All in all, not sure it was worth the price, spend an extra $20.

Estancia agradable pero...

La experiencia general fue buena, con una habitación ámplia y cómoda. Sin embargo, la comunicación con el establecimiento pudo mejorar. Tratamos de hacer un check-out lo más temprano posible para poder tomar el tour de regreso que ya estaba organizado. Al final, tras esperar hasta después de las 9am (hora en que abría la recepción), nunca llegó nadie y nos dijeron que dejasemos la llave en el buzón del hotel. Un mal sabor de boca de despedida para una estancia que por lo demás fue bastante agradable.

Could have been better.

Lets start by getting a phone call at 7pm asking me to give them my credit card information over the phone (not happening) 3 day before my stay i called them gave them my card info for a security deposit and confirm my reservation. Got to the hotel was granted an early check-in at 2pm which was great due to the fact we were tired after a long day of touring and having to wait 1hr for the room to be cleaned. This where it all turns left ! THE ROOM I BOOKED AND PAID FOR WAS A LOFT WITH OCEAN VIEW . I got a room with a view of the garden , not happy! After complaining to the guy he says the ocean is behind all the bushes and he will have it cut! NOT THE BEST ANSWER. The only reason i stayed and didnt cancel on the spto was due to my tiredness ! Hot water was flecky. I had no hot water at night (bummer). The place is great , loved the room but not what I PAYED FOR.
