Check in was quick and simple, and I liked that most things were within 20 mins walk. The bathroom is separate from the showers which is also nice. The place was fairly clean.
However, it was clear the place hadn't had a good scrub in a long time. The shower curtains were spotted with mold, the walls needed to be washed, and my room smelled very musty (i bought an air freshener which helped).
The bed was awful. It was all springs and sunk down easily. It was also incredibly noisy - along with all the doors that needed oiling. I didn't get much sleep, and I felt very sore come morning.
The hotel has wifi and provides toilet paper and hand soap in the washroom, but you need to bring shampoo, body wash, a towel, cloth, etc. There is a small variety store downstairs that may have what you need if you forget anything.
