This is an older property that needs come care. Breakfast was poor at best. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice. No housekeeping service. The area was beautiful with lots of trees and was quiet.

Staff was very nice- mouse in breakfast room- Bathtub cracked- towels were so worn they were dingy dingy brown white towels- lack of towels had to return and count to get so called clean ones- television only had 4 channels- flooring cracked and metal rusted- not a great place

We were given a room and when we opened the door the room was dirty. Bed unmade from the person before us and garbage stacked on the table. The front desk was able to quickly assign us a new room, but we had to kill 3 wasps, several kissing bugs and several flies. Floors were stained and dead bugs on the table and the floor. We attempted to find a new place stay, but with the busy weekend we had no choice. We checked out around 2:45 am as there were more bugs crawling on the headboard.

Clean, quiet, friendly staff. TV was not good (computer monitor screen) with minimal channel selections. Breakfast options very limited. We stayed for (1) night, and despite not 100% rating, we would stay again.

No clue how it was. Had to cancel the day of. Had an emergency. Was two hours away and had to turn around and go home. $300 down the drain. Instead of refunds, travel credit would be nice. We visit every year, sometimes twice. Insurance really is useless unless you or a loved one died.

Run down, bed worn to too soft, tv had 2 channels that were abc and twc. All others were scrambled or not there. Temp in 40s outside, had only floor space heater. Cabin didn’t seem to be insulated enough.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not a new luxury hotel, but clean, quiet, comfortable, and close to and convenient to everything in Keystone, Custer State Park, the Badlands, Rapid City etc. at a very reasonable price. Left us with more money to do things in the area! All guests were convivial and host was awesome.

The beds were terrible. The parking was horrible. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and neat. Bathroom needed to be gutted and redone. Would not stay here again

Better than expected, overall good!

Location is excellent and at a great price. Cleanliness was mediocre; towels were stained and bathroom could use updates for example, the tub is very slippery and dangerous. We laid a towel down to avoid slipping. But the service was friendly and professional. We reserved a non-smoking room but were given a wrong one, and manager changed our room right away. Okay for a quick trip, but I would not stay more than 2 nights.

The area is fantastic. The hotel needs a lot of upgrade. The breakfast was good. Now the toilet in the room was only 3 inches from one wall, it was uncomfortable. The shower is snall- very small.

Very nice for an older building

The staff was so nice and helpful. He showed me where my room was. I was skeptical at first because it’s an older building and the parking lot is crowded. But the room was clean and comfortable. I didn’t hear my neighbors at all. My only problem was that there was no USB charging port and I didn’t have any adapter with me so I had to charge my phone in my car. But for the price and due to the busy Labor Day weekend, it was worth the money.
