We had a wonderful stay with very welcoming hosts and a great breakfast each morning. Room was a great size, very clean and in a lovely quiet location. Very well situated near to Yosemite Valley, so perfect for visiting all the sights.

Perfect location that is quiet and clean and close enough to go hiking, walk to downtown for shopping or restaurants and bars. Helene is an amazing cook and made us delicious and filling breakfasts each morning. Would highly recommend and would be happy to stay there next time we’re in Mariposa or Yosemite area!

What a wonderful stay in a clean, spacious and well equipped property. Helene and Ronald were extremely caring hosts and a wonderful couple. The breakfast was extremely delicious and filling each morning that we stayed. Post breakfast, there were goodies like cake, brownies, soft chocolate chip biscuits to take along for our day at Yosemite. Received very good guidance from Helene on each of the 3 days for hiking at Yosemite. She also gave our son, who is in the spectrum, some really good career advice. Absolutely loved those 3 days.

A very clean, comfy, well-provisioned room at a great price. The highlight was a different superb gourmet breakfast each day prepared from scratch by Helene and her husband. There was also a homemade takeaway on each of the two days we were there - chocolate chunk brownies and buttery shortbread. The overall atmosphere and ambiance was very calming and positive. Definitely coming back!

Our first B&B experience. Couldn’t ask for more… on the first morning we got breakfast to go, it was a perfect selection of stuffed croissants, fruits and the most delicious chocolate cake we’ve ever eaten. On the second morning we got fresh berries and fruits, eggs, apple pie etc. Perfect place to start your Yosemite adventure!

Great place in Mariposa!!

The hosts, Ron and Elena were wonderful. Eland would ask about our plans and based on that would give us hints and recommendations on what to see and do. The breakfasts were fantastic. Plenty for any appetite. She would also give us some sort of snack (brownies, shortbread…) for later in the day. We enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend their establishment!!!

Pleasant experience at Yosemite Plaisance

What a delightful find Yosemite Plaisance was during our stay in the Yosemite area. Ron and Helene were such gracious hosts from the wonderful breakfast that is served in the morning to the trail treats they gave us for the day. We also enjoyed spending the morning chatting it up with them and their knowledge of the area was so helpful in planning our day. The room was super clean, comfortable, and quiet. We would definitely stay here again on our next Yosemite adventure! :)

Friendly and welcoming

This place is a true gem. The hosts are very fruendly and welcoming. The rooms are big and clean and there is a big closet to hang your clothes. The breakfast is very good, we got eggs made to your liking and fresh baked bread and cookies every day. The drive to Yosemite is about an hour to get all the way to the valley but the drive is beautiful so it really didn’t matter. Lot’s of good restaurants close by.

A unique place to stay

This is really a unique place - in a good way. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with parking right outside the door. Downtown Mariposa is just a couple minutes drive, so we easily found two nice restaurants for dinner. Driving into the neighborhood isn't scenic, but the house is on a quiet street. And the best part is Helene's wonderful breakfast - a combination of fruit, a pastry and a hearty egg dish each morning. Getting to Mariposa from either the Big Oak Flat or the Wawona entrances to Yosemite is beautiful, although if Yosemite is your destination, you are over an hour from either entrance.

We enjoyed staying here. Mariposa is approximately one hour from Yosemite. The beds were very comfortable and had soft blankets and lots of pillows. The breakfast was amazing. We stayed for two nights—the first morning we had yogurt with blueberries, sour dough bread with strawberry fig preserves, apple croissant type pastries, eggs, and coffee and were given shortbread to take into the park which was a great touch. The next morning we had yogurt with strawberries, whole wheat bread with orange vanilla preserves, and elephant ears. We were given brownies to take into the park the second day. We also had coffee and fruit infused water with our breakfast both days. We would definitely stay here again—it was cute and safe. We loved seeing the animals in the morning and sitting outside in the fresh air. Clear stars at night.

This was the loveliest stay I have had in all of my travel experiences. The owners were lovely, really made me feel at home. Chef Helene made the most delicious breakfast and was Covid safe. Will definitely be staying again.
