So wonderfully quiet! Beautiful historic farm barns conversion. Owners provided good communication and were on hand if we needed anything. The double bed was absolutely superb, comfortable and very large. I couldn't work out the configuration upstairs from the photos, but there are 2 bedrooms and one family bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. Would happily stay there again. We were 2 adults with our 2 grown up daughters . We also had 2 other members of our family join us for lunch at the outdoor table and chairs. Free parking in the pretty courtyard. Thank you!

We stayed in the Dairy this trip and we absolutely loved it. It’s so comfortable and fully equipped with everything we could want/need (oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster etc). The bed is huge and the bedding is very comfortable … we slept better than at home. The outside space is lovely and the chickens popping by to visit are a real treat! We’ve previously stayed a few times in the Stables at the farm which we’ve also loved … it’s a very special place and we’ll look forward to our next stay. Thank you so much.

This was our 2nd stay in The Stable and it was wonderful. The place is so relaxing, comfortable and importantly, lovely and warm given it was so cold outside. The parking is easy and the place is clean and spacious with everything we needed for our stay.

What a beautiful, gem of a place. Farm buildings that have been converted into self contained apartments. Yes we could have stayed in a soulless Premier inn with noisy guests coming in from the pub at 2am, but we wanted something with character, close to town and a home from home. Ormskirk and Southport are nearby. Its a paradise for cyclists, hikers and there's even a canal close by for kayakers and Suppers. We will definitely back to stay here!

The property had everything you need for staying away and the beds were comfortable, the owners welcomed us and were friendly, they provided with a number for a local taxi service which were helpful and reliable. Enjoyed our short stay.

A wonderful place to stay! Perfectly sized and set out for solo or a couple. Private, you wouldn't know there are other units around, but this would be a great place for a stay that needed a number of separate spaces. Convenient for WWT Martin Mere (less than an hour walk if you're so inclined). Although not needed, parking space was fine and safe. Truly everything you'd need for a short (or longer) stay.

One of my favourite places to stay. Decent pubs within walking distance but none do food after 7pm! Lots of choice on Just Eat and there is an excellent Booths supermarket nearby.

Perfect stay, beautiful and family friendly

What a lovely holiday cottage. Absolutely perfect for our 2 night stay with family. My kids loved playing football in the paddock and exploring the area. Felt very safe. Lovely hosts and great location. Highly recommend. Thank you
