The hotel was fine and the front lady receptionist (sorry forgotten name but started with a B) was lovely.
However the communciation and transparency from this hotel is absolutely shocking. I booked a transfer from Verona airport to our hotel and i was quoted 90euros, was not given any terms or conditons or set out any warning thst there would be an increase in fee if we had the 'night service'. My flight was due to land at 10.30 but we had an hr delay so it landed at 11.30pm so i completely appreciate its late. However, i was told that the taxi was 110euros by the driver as we were taking off! I questioned this with the hote and all i got in response was agression, atturide and rudeness by someone called 'Cecila' - i was told 'it is not their problem that the flight was delayed' but my response was it is their responsibility to lay out the FULL terms and conditoons and had this been mentioned from the outset i wouldnt have had a problem. Even when wuestioning it, i was only asking why the charge is higher and did not expect the rude responses i recieved. The taxi driver was also rude and miserable and shouted at us cos we put our own bags in the car - all in all, i feel that you need to be transparent with costs fkr transfers and with the full terms and conditions from the outset to avoid confusion on the day of travelling. Also learn how to respond with kindess, and not be so rude when asking general questions. breakfast also had rubbish options! Would never book again.
