It was a quick trip for us and I was sorry we couldn’t spend more time there. The bed was amazing and the food was delicious. You couldn’t ask for better hosts. The architecture of the home was amazing and more than enough to interest me, in and of itself. Besides that, it is filled with an eclectic collection artwork, antiques, and things of interest that took a lifetime to amass. Our equally interesting host graciously gave us a tour when I expressed interest. We plan on a return visit.

Skip the chain hotels

Very interesting old home with loads of antiques. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, and the included breakfast was very good. The bathroom assigned to the room we stayed in was huge with a claw foot tub/shower. House is on huge landscaped lot. Big wrap-around front porch to hang out on. Will definitely stay in again when in the area.

Damn near perfect. The food was phenomenal. The house is amazing. The array of collectibles, and antiques, make the experience very much worthwhile. The hosts are amazing. We stayed in the Safari room, and loved it. So many conveniences and comforts. The only thing that needs expanding is the wi-fi. And quite frankly they probably blame the ghosts for that. I kept disconnecting constantly.

Cool place - lots of memorabilia. And it's all for sale! Neat building. Historical, nice location, accomodating and friendly owners. Would definitely return. Food was good, too.

We had an amazing time! The owners make you feel like family. The home is gorgeous and filled with amazing antiques. Scott is full of information about the history of the home and the antiques in the home. They offer ghost tours and a special tea time. Cathy is very kind and welcoming and a very good cook! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at the Daffodale House B&B. The rooms are so beautiful and the whole house is so interesting. The owners were awsome, and so was the breakfast. I dont know when I'll be back in Montecello, but I'll definitely stay there again.

This place was amazing!! Hosts were very welcoming making us feel like family. Cathy served up a great breakfast accompanied by her delicious coffee. We stayed in the Safari room which was very comfortable. So much character throughout. Will definitely be coming back to stay.
