Pictures online were deceiving and not the room I reserved. When called later on, they said they “haven’t updated there website pictures yet” and that “they were all booked up” so they couldn’t replace my room I felt like my room was in a remodeled basement and could hear kids thumping up above me. We had an incredible weekend stay at the Casey Key Resort in Nokomis. The staff were amazing, the accommodations were elegant, the location was IDEAL (especially for a fisherman), and the views were PRICELESS. We stayed in a cozy cabin and had access to both the gorgeous white sandy beaches of the gulf along with dock access to the Intercoastal Waterway. I would highly recommend this small little hotel as it is both cozy and wonderfully located on Casey Key.
