Bad staff behavior

Awful. I watched a mean, vulgar woman go off on several people. She was aggressive, and unrelenting. She is one of two things: (1) angry and vengeful; or (2) clinically crazy. She single-handedly ruined the evening for everybody I love, and for no acceptable reason as a business owner or human. Later, we returned for my phone, which I hastily (and stupidly) left in the reception area, but only because this horrible lady at the inn was unrelenting. As my husband grabbed my phone and tried to leave unnoticed by the owners (I’m assuming a married couple) the husband approached him on the front porch to “come back inside for just a moment.” I actually thought he’d say something like, “I’m so sorry for what happened earlier” or similar. What he said was, “I’m going to ask you to leave our building right now.” Why on earth would you invite my husband back inside to ask him to leave. I travel 10 nights each month, on average. This is the weirdest, and most offensive, experience I’ve witnessed in over 20 years. I feel for business owners, especially those in a similar position. But the best thing for this couple, and any other prospective guest: leave the hospitality industry. You both waited until we were completely hostage, and punished all of us for what seems like a bitter position on life. I pray you sell your business, so nobody else has this experience ever again.

Comfy Bed Great Breakfast Awesome Location

Fantastic location, service and breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and the good conversation during breakfast, which was made for us fresh and delicious. Lots of great restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The Lakeview Inn is a great bed-and-breakfast located in the heart of Naples. It was formerly a boarding house for the female staff that worked across the street at the hotel, so there's lots of interesting history to the building. The innkeepers are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Several restaurants within walking distance on the lake - I thoroughly enjoyed the lobster roll at Freedom Cafe. The Lakeview Inn is definitely worth an overnight stay.

Great stay!

Great stay - hosts (Patty and Mike) are accommodating and open - happy to share local knowledge about food, biking, beaches, etc. Very hospitable. Breakfast is yummy. Room is clean and comfortable. Beautiful area. Recent visit over the Fourth of July - lots of Sebago Lake State Park fun along with biking and lake time and exploration. Really relaxing and enjoyable.
