Friendly people at Scorpio Villas Resort

This resort hotel offered good accommodation in Malindi which itself was a relaxing and enjoyable location. I would recommend B&B. I had the buffet dinner at Scorpio on a few occasions. It represented good value for money, but was very much the same each night.

Se conosci ed ami il Kenya puoi solo soggiornare qui. Se non lo conosci hai una ragione in più per farlo Lo Scorpio Villas è una magia africana. Non c’è un angolo di questo paradiso che non vorrai portare a casa con te costringendoti a fotografare ogni dove. È un resort con una lunga storia e questa storia si percepisce fin dall’arrivo. Dopo 30 anni di assenza ho ritrovato qui la mia Africa, l’Africa ancora vera. Questo luogo è composto da varie villette, ognuna diversa e particolare e poche camere ciascuna, tutte pulitissime, dotate di aria condizionata, ventilatore e un’ampia terrazza arredata dalla quale sentirete il respiro dell’Africa già al vostro risveglio. Gli arredi sono un po’ datati? Sì…per fortuna. Vi stupirà anche il percorso che si snoda tra le piscine, fresche oasi di pace inserite in un rigoglioso giardino tropicale, e vi condurrà alla spiaggia più bella di Malindi; Silversand, sabbia bianchissima e magnifici i colori del mare. Una nota di merito va anche al personale sempre sorridente e cordiale e allo staff di cucina che propone specialità italiane e africane con prodotti freschi ogni giorno. L’anima dello Scorpio è Gastone, un vero signore che cercherà in ogni modo di rendere il vostro soggiorno memorabile ma che potrà diventare un caro amico, un uomo che per sensibilità, vi dirà “ci vediamo dopo” anche il giorno della partenza.

Horrible

Scorpio used to be an incredibly gorgeous hotel. Not quite sure what happened with the new management, but our stay was a nightmare. The pools were empty, the floor and wall paint was chipped with large holes, the pool chairs were broken and it looked like nobody had swept the place in years. The place looked abandoned and should not be open for paying customers.

Veldig hyggelige ansatte, både de i resepsjonen, vakter, servitører og renholdere! Fint hotell, god mat, typisk europeisk frokost med nydelige pannekaker. God middag på hotellet! Pizza på stranden, egen strand med solsenger. Ikke kjempefin badeplass da det var mye sjøgress der.
