Hotel 87 is in a great location close to most of the iconic sites plus on a nice shopping street. The hotel is well kept, air conditioned in the lobby and rooms. The roof top bar is a lovely treat. We only had a few days where the air conditioner wasn’t cooling sufficiently but that was due to extreme heat ( I suppose). Rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. One thing to take note of is the city tax that needs to be paid in cash. Make sure you have $7.50 euros/ day per person in a room.

Hotel 87 is on a busy street in the central area of Rome but the room was able to block the noise. Very accessible to public transportation. Walking distance to Trevi fountain (5 min), Pantheon (10 min), very short walk to shopping area. Restaurants are short walking distance. Convenience store is close by. Staff was very helpful (shout out to Red and bar staff on the 5th floor). Facility is clean.

Excellent location, a few minutes walk from the Metro station and less than 10 minutes to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The Colosseum is also walkable. Great places to eat nearby. The hotel has a restaurant, the food looked lovely although we didn’t get time to eat there. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was a nice touch having mini cookies and drink in the lobby. Would definitely recommend.
