The inn keepers were very very nice and accommodating. Nice old historic bed and breakfast right in downtown Boothbay. Everything about this stay was excellent.

10/10 Excellent

Lovely house with great wraparound porch and gorgeous plants & trees. The lilacs, which I love, were blooming which was absolutely delightful - so aromatic and beautiful! The bed was very comfy and the view of the town and water was joyful. There's a lovely art gallery, used bookstore, and plenty of dining options nearby. A very sweet couple manages the inn and they're excellent cooks - Captain Sawyer's breakfast was beyond delicious - one day it was just me and they served huevos rancheros and posette - incredible! ...The kitchen is down the hall from the rooms so if you wish there are opportunities for social time. The only thing that I'd recommend as a future update - as with many stately old New England homes, the bathroom could use a refresh - including some new caulking.

Welcoming hosts with darling baby who are excellent bakers and very accommodating.

6/10 Okay

Plus: The property is very convenient to Boothbay Harbor. Negative: Our room lacked a closet and some minor things, which we had to go get after asking. Access by very steep stairs was risky for a person with any disability. The price was very high for what was provided. Nice couple managing.

Perfect location for hanging out in Boothbay for a couple of days. Step out the front door and you are a few houses from all the shops. Easy to get on a tour boat and restaurants were great!!! Breakfast like all of the other reviews was amazing and worth the stay. Quiet and relaxing!
Angela, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

In the heart of Boothbay Harbor. Jo made an incredible breakfast every morning, and was AWESOME with my wife's allergies. It's a B&B, so its an old building, but had everything we needed!

Booth Bay

Captain Sawyers B&B is the best location on the bay. View of the water and easy walk through town. We really enjoyed upper and lower porch for reading and fresh air, with or without sun. Lovely breakfast. Walked to dinner at Ports of Italy and Coastal Prime. Great visit.
Judith, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

It was well located in the center of the town. Breakfast was very good. The room was small, but it was advertised as such. The #1 restaurant in the town was located adjacent to the property. Tour and sail boats were located within easy walking distance. It is an interesting and unique town to visit.
Francis, 2-night trip

Loved all
Fred, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

I realize this is and old house that was converted into a B&B and it did have a certain charm to it. The room however was extremely small and hard to get around. The shower was tiny and hard to get around in. The Innkeeper was a very nice and accommodating lady. She was also a very good cook and the breakfasts were very good. The location was excellent and well within walking distance of everything in town.
Jack, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

A fantastic getaway!

Jo took over the inn earlier this year and has definitely started doing some fantastic renovations. We stayed on the first floor in the Roseway room which was very quaint. The inn is right in the heart of everything on the harbor which is fantastic. We really loved the ability to utilize the 1st and 2nd floor front porches regardless of where your room is located. Jo does a great job at breakfast, don't head out for your day without stopping for breakfast, you won't be sorry! Oh, don't miss the afternoon chocolate chip cookies, they are a treat. One evening we purchased lobsters and steamers from a local market-Pinkhams steamed to go and sat at the outdoor picnic table at the inn, when Jo saw us she was so sweet to bring out a candle for the table! We will definitely look to return to this wonderful spot.
Ken, 2-night trip

We spent 2 nights and had a wonderful time! The innkeepers are super nice and accommodating and the breakfast both mornings were to die for. We would highly recommended!
