Good breakfast spread with reasonable bread selection. Plenty of parking spaces and there is an Orkan self-service petrol station within the compound of this property. One of the best places in Iceland to catch the Northern Lights without having to go far or join expensive tours - we saw the Northern Lights dancing from our hotel room for 2 consecutive nights.

Room was decent sized. Bathroom was bigger than Hotel Varmaland, Godafoss and ODDSSON Midtown. Breakfast was very good - lots of options. Dinner at restaurant was very good (so me starters were very very good). Bar and bar tenders were very good. It had a gas/petrol pump station - hugely convenient. Adequate parking unlike ODDSSON midtown. Super convenient to hit spots around the Myvatn loop.

This hotel is amazing. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was top notch. Their breakfast buffet was above and beyond. Right across the street from the hotel is a hiking trail around the lake. There are at least 3 to 4 volcanoes that you can see. There is an ice cream store beside the hotel that makes all their own ice cream. It was delicious.

Nice hotel near Husavik. We enjoyed the large room and the breakfast. We're staying only for one night and didn't manage to try the rest of the facilities. My only negative is that the maintenance of the rooms could be better. It feels old and has some damage. Other than that, it was a great stay.
