Friendly helpful staff. The food was nice but dinner service had to finish at 7.00 pm on the night I stayed due to it being quiz night which is perfectly understandable. It felt like a real locals establishment.My only criticisms concerned the size of the bathroom towels which were not a bath sheet and the lack of topping up of the shower gel / shampoo container in the cubicle itself.

Comfortable room in a town pub close to amenities. Surprisingly it was very quiet through the night with only the gentle chiming of the clock tower to be heard. Host welcoming and friendly.had our evening meal there which was very tasty and arrived quickly.
