If you’re looking for a budget resort this is it. But the staff are overall full of attitude and seem like they don’t want to be there. Armaso was the best part of the trip. He was so kind and we looked forward to him working at the bar.

While this property is advertised as Adults-Only, it it's far from that. The resort is situated on a resort property with 2 other Royalton resorts that are kid and family friendly. Hideaway shares the property grounds with Royalton Punta Cana, which has the majority of the space. There is just a very small section for Hideaway guests There were kids everywhere including in my building which was supposed to be adult only. The pool right outside my building had kids in it every day, all day. There were only 2 areas of the resort were I did not see kids, that would be the one restaurant advertised as for Hideaway guests only and one pool area that had gates around it. I booked a diamond club room which includes a butler. Upon arrival my butler mentioned that I was to receive a complimentary bottle and asked what I would like... the bottle was never received or mentioned again. It was not mentioned that I was supposed to receive a welcome package til my last night at the resort by another staff member, that wasn't my butler. My butler did book our one dinner reservation and we handled everything else ourselves. There was minimal communication from our butler. We were 3 adult family members, and was put in a room with just 2 beds and no sofa bed. My son had to sleep on the loveseat. The rooms were average, small and could use some upgrades, it's basically a regular hotel room. This Royalton property did not meet my expectations and I wouldn't pay the extra money to stay here

Excellent Stay

I really enjoyed my stay, I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. All personnel made us feel comfortable throughout our stay! I couldn't find a bad moment the whole week. Jennifer who works at the Hideaway went up and beyond making me and my wife comfortable. The food was excellent my room was immaculate on a daily basis. This was my first all inclusive trip and I enjoyed it!
