This was our third time going to Fantasia, and we chose it because the first two times, everything was so good. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same this time. The lack of maintenance on the facilities is very notorious. The castle needs paint, the curtains need to be replaced, and the chairs at the buffet were very dirty.
The main concern is the food! A la carte dinners were fully reserved, but when you went there, they weren't. I am assuming they count the reserves in the number of plates they have available or staff, not the number of tables.
The first night, we ate at a Japanese restaurant in Grand Punta Cana. The show was nothing; he just flamed once. The restaurant was very dirty.
The second night, we ate at Le Gourmet. The food was cold, and the sauce over the meat told me the food was already served. That's a good point; there was a kids' buffet inside.
On the third night, we couldn’t find a spot. Thankfully, that night was the Dominican show, so we ended up eating at the buffet, and the show was awesome!
Last night we ate at Garden Circus and the food was cold again.
Overall, the food at the buffet was good (even better than the restaurant), but it was cold.
I hope Fantasia comes back how it was.
