We were sad to leave this apartment. It was huge, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms a kitchen and living room. The one bathroom had a jacuzzi bath tub. The hot water worked well and there was an air conditioner in both bedrooms as well as the living room. The wifi worked well throughout our stay . We had a big balcony over looking the pool. The parking lot is secure and the owner's son is also the security guard. The owner is nice and lives on the property if there are any problems. The room has satellite tv with lots of Spanish channels and a few in English. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk or a five minute drive from the beach. You pretty much need a car if you are staying here. You can rent surfboards in town for $10 for the day and there is a large super market just outside of town called Super Mega. The owner doesn't accept credit cards for payment . Tamarindo is about 1.5 hours from Liberia and alot of the streets are dirt roads without signs. The owner sent us directions but we still got lost. His son came and showed us the way from town. It is probably best to cal him if you can when you arrive in town as the apartments don''t have a sign. the only negative about this apartment was that it wasn't the cleanest.
