The room I had was very roomy, to include the bathroom which had room for a side table if the inn wanted to put them in the bathroom. The room was clean, and the furniture was in good condition. I could tell this was once a Holiday Inn back in the 1970s with the pool in the center of the property and restaurant attached to the lobby. For an older property, this one is pretty well maintained.

This was my first time staying there due to coming to NC for a funeral. The front desk lady wasn't nice. I chose the room because it was close to the location where the funeral home was and the pictures looked very nice. As we walk to our room up the stairs, the thin little carpet, there was so nasty crumbs paper, I even saw something brown soft mess that looked like poop. We kept on going to our room. The beds were soft.The sheets seemed to be clean Thank God, but the carpet was dirty crumbs all over the carpet.It wasn't vacuumed. The desk on a furniture in the room was thick that I took a video of it. The shower curtain in the bathroom was disgusting.It had stains all over the end of the shower curtain. The ceilings in the bathroom was full of chipped paint, there was some mold in the corner of the tub. Behind the back of the toilet were that two comes through the wall was so disgusting full of dust and dirt. I left a review describing the same thing along with the video and pictures that I took. I advised them that they're paying their cleaning people for nothing because nothing was clean except for the bed.You're charging over a hundred dollars for a room that's filthy.It makes no sense. We checked in online, so by the time we got back to the hotel it was late and we just did not feel like going through getting another room when we knew we were leaving in the morning. All I can say is never, ever again
