Travelled to Florence with our family of 5. The room was more than accommodating however we booked this particular hotel as it listed there was a bar lounge but there was not. They offered us a happy hour however when we arrived we were turned away because it was closed for a private event. Location was great.

We haves stayed at this hotel four times, including two occasions this trip, and enjoyed each visit but frankly found it a little better the first couple times. They used to have an afternoon tea/proseco session for the guests in a comfortable setting within the hotel. On our first trip this service wasn’t offered and though this stop it is, the setting is now a cold sterile outside gravel covered seating area. We love this conveniently located hotel with great rooms and wonderful staff and hope to see it return to its better days.

This property was in a good location, just round the corner from Sante Croce Church, which was our favourite in Florence! All Museums, churches and shops in the old town are walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a good size, and the bed comfortable.

Amazing location just a walk away from Christmas market, we we’re here in December. Rooms were extremely clean, quiet at night, you couldn’t hear anyone else in the other rooms like at most hotels. The service was great, attentive and friendly. Wish we had planned to stay for a longer time here.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is super convenient, with many attractions within walking distance. The area is also nice and quiet at night, so we got a really good night’s sleep. What surprised us the most was that it was my partner’s birthday during our stay, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared an aperitif for us, making us feel so welcomed. Huge thanks to the team for such a memorable stay—can’t recommend it enough!

Madison du Sage has beautiful rooms with an excellent breakfast served in the morning by a very friendly staff. Every night we came back to a sparkling clean room. The AC and bedding were perfect. I would recommend a “sleep sound” machine for those of you who end up in the rooms that have a window adjacent to a bar on the street below. But the white noise machine canceled anything we may have heard and we slept great every night. I highly recommend this hotel also for its location next to the beautiful Santa Croce church, a must see when you are in Florence.
