I had a great stay at the alder hotel. They have convenient parking right across the street. Their staff was very friendly and nice, very helpful when I visited New Orleans for the first time during Mardi Gras. Their lobby was decorated so pretty with the Mardi Gras trees. Our room was also very clean which was the most important detail to me. I would stay at this hotel again!

Staff was friendly and professional, as the previous reviews we read indicated. Parking was secure and convenient. Although nearby drainpipe repairs impacted the entrance to the hotel, the workaround was fine and did not negatively affect our stay. The neighborhood was full of great places to eat, all within safe walking distance. We especially loved hearing the roosters nearby crowing as we exited and entered the hotel! Made it seem like we were in a relaxed, pastoral setting. We will be back! Highly recommend!
