Extremely disappointed this visit

The bathroom was clean but tiny and no room to put my washbag. The stairs up to room 20 are soooo steep and 3 floors up.Found it difficult to get up with my suitcase and I am 78 years old and no help was offered. I did not sleep from 1.00am unto 4.00am as someone was either smoking or vaping in their room and set off the fire alarm. I was disappointed as I have stayed several times before.

Do not recommend this Shireburn, I booked and wanted to change the date to January instead of Dec. They would NOT change it when they had my money!!! Terrible service . excuse I hadn’t booked direct with them, They kept my money!!!! Shameful and disgraceful. Robbers !

Lovely warm welcome, lively room with a very comfortable bed. Fantastic own brewed beer and i really do run out of superlatives for the food!!! It was such a shame though, that while eating breakfast, i wS overwhelmed by the spraying of the interior. It was as if i had taken a swig of perfume!! I was left with this vile taste for a few hours. I wiuld have loved to give this a 5 star rating

Coronation Weekend Stay

Easy process to book online with plenty of contact before the visit. Booking in was straightforward wnen we arrived. Easy instructions to find the room. Room itself was a very good size with very comfortable beds - a great night's sleep. Plenty of coffee/chocolate sachets provided and refilled the next day. Loads odf shampoo in bathroom but had to ask for a shower gel. A satisfactory size TV. There is a breakfast menu which is very varied. I particularly enjoyed the eggs benedict which was cooked to order. Juice, breakfast cereal, pastries etc were help yourself from the bar area. Leavind by 10.30 was great. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking available. A good experience.
