Definitely read the fine print about the pet fees. When booking, I didn't see the $100 non refundable pet fee, OR the $25 I would have to pay for off-site parking. Plus the $200 refundable deposit, my last minute, affordable getaway got expensive quickly. This is an older motel that has been updated-rooms were clean, but fairly small. Overnight was doable for our gamily of 4 and a dog, but longer would've been pretty tight. Right on the boardwalk, which is great if you want to be right in the middle of things, but hourly announcements on the boardwalk, as well as noise from the rides won't be a good fit for some families. While we were also grateful for well lit walkways, having a security light outside our window, even with window blacking curtains, made for a bright light in our room all night. Finally, the walls are very thin, we could hear our neighbors coughing and using the bathroom at night, which sometimes caused our dog to bark. We didn't sleep much but enjoyed the close proximity to the beach in the off season, it would be too busy for us if we were there in peak season, and without reserved parking, any breakfast options and nowhere for dogs to use the bathroom, along with high fees, we wouldn't choose this particular hotel again.
