An adventure

This is a funky, venerable old hotel. Our needs were met. About 60 steps to the top floor, no elevator.
Cathy, 1-night trip

Breakfast options, other than coffee shops, were limited.
Merle, 1-night trip

Best staff. So friendly. This is an historic property, so the rooms are unique configurations that might not appeal to everyone, but we thought it was great. Perfect location, esoecially if coming in from a cruise ship. Susan at the front desk was great
Andrea, 1-night trip

Ww appreciated the historic site was able to be still used. It was ecclectic.

Beautiful and fun

Beautiful old hotel right in historic Juneau. Unique antique architecture and comfortable rooms. Try and request a room that's not right over the bar if you are a light sleeper as noise comes through the floor.
Erin, 1-night trip

My kind of place!

I love a classic 112 year old hotel. Shared bathrooms were clean and never a wait. Mattress was like a cloud! Everyone is helpful and friendly. Not your type of place if you're uptight and get upset about some wear and tear or hauling gear up stairs. Adventurous souls only!

The staff was so nice and it was very clean. We had a great stay.

Property very worn and tired . Fridge not working and previous guest food left inside . Location good , shower hot with good pressure . Rooms small , bed soft

Beautiful old hotel that’s quite charming.
Michael, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great relatively inexpensive hotel in downtown Juneau. Fun place to stay for couples and solo adults. Great character and a good place to crash for the night in Juneau if you don’t mind a bit of noise from the bar.
Ronald, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Old, but adequate for location and price.

Charming Rustic Alaska in a Great Location

Not the flashiest or most modern accommodation but if you're trying to save some money and have a rustic authentic Juneau experience in a great location than this is the winner!

Wonderful!
Ramon, 1-night trip

Reserved the room using a company credit card and they refused to charge it without a (nonfillable) document that they would only email to me, not print out so I could fill it. They have the card number they need and made it impossible to avoid using my personal card
Joy, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The young woman who checked us in was extremely helpful and engaging. The room was cute and clean and the bed was comfortable. Very good value for money. And, it's an interesting historic hotel, I think the oldest hotel still running in Alaska.
Jane, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel is charming but shows its age. Room rate was excellent for Juneau. Just be prepared to carry your luggage up three or four flights of stairs (I was travelling heavy with one 50 lb. suitcase that was a challenge to get to my room). Overall, an interesting, inexpensive place to sleep.
Gary, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Was ok the room was clean but dated. A bit noisy for 1 day was fine.
Eric, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

It’s very beautiful because it’s old and well kept. Be ready for noise at night. I brought ear plugs and had no problem sleeping
