THIs is a lovely historical property built in about 1874. It is well preserved and has period wall coverings and ceilings including a gilded ceiling and a living room with course burlap over bright copper sheets. The bright copper was added in 1903 when electricity was installed. The wattage of the bulbs was low and the copper improved the light performance. The burlap was later added to mute the copper when Higher wattage bulbs were available. The house is history come alive and it is a beautiful package for that history. The bedrooms are period and lovely, with a jet tub and a bathroom in each bedroom. The breakfast is excellent.

I originally booked my stay in order to get some writing done. Moondance was so much more than I'd hoped for. Mike makes a mean stuffed French toast and Chris is a lovely hostess. I'd booked my stay for a simple writing getaway (not as cool as it sounds) and stumbled into an amazing place. I hope to go there soon as a romantic getaway,

The property has beautiful light fixtures and beautiful decor. A real beauty with a magnificent porch. It is located in a great location being able to walk to downtown within 10 minutes. The tub with jacuzzi jets was amazing. The breakfast was stellar! Delicious!

Historic bed & breakfast with private bath for each room. We love old homes and staying in residential area. The public rooms are large and front porch is fantastic. The guest rooms are nice size, but pillows are flat and bed cover is heavy comforter or light blanket (no other choices. Also, no counter space to put personal items when you unpack (especially bathroom). Whirlpool in each room with hand held shower. Usually the hosts goes all out for breakfast at B&B, but here it was fine, but nothing special (veggie omelet, fruit, potato and muffin).

Went down for a concert, spent the night. Room was nice, clean and quiet. Would probably consider staying here again , needed more time. Owners were friendly and it was fun talking to the other guests at breakfast in the morning.

The home was absolutley gorgeous! Our room was large and the king bed was truly fit for a king. The breakast was wonderful and made from ingredients freshly picked from the owners' garden. The 2 person hottub was an added bonus. The owners were very kind and Mike shared the interesting history on the home including renovations. Would highly recommended this B & B.

First time in a BnB and was a great experience! We’re treated like family. Told some history on the house and met the owners in morning. The owners made our breakfast fir all 10 of us. It’s was an older home and restored . We felt very welcomed in there BNB. I want thank Mike & Chris for a very eventful experience. We will truly be back again

The house is absolutely beautiful as are the owners. Wine and appetizers Saturday night with wonderful breakfasts the Sunday and Monday mornings that we were there. The owners, Chris and Mike were very pleasant and informative when talking about the history of the house. They have two absolutely fun and funky Puli dogs that were so endearing! I would stay here again, absolutely

Only recommendation is to build an awning over the main entrance to the house. Large icycles hanging above the entrance could seriously injure of kill someone when they fall. This has to be addressed immediately.
