2/10 Poor

Our experience at this hotel was unfortunately very poor. We arrived at check-in time, but our room was not ready until 1.5 hours later, which was frustrating after a long journey. The room itself was in unacceptable condition. During the night, rain was leaking in through both the windows and the ceiling. The room showed clear signs of water damage – the floors were uneven, the air felt damp, and there was a smell of mold throughout the space. The air conditioning was not working, which made the situation even more uncomfortable given the humidity. Additionally, one of the main reasons we chose this hotel – the skybar – was closed, so there was no opportunity to enjoy the advertised city view from the hotel roof top. Breakfast was also disappointing. The buffet area was not clean, with old bread remnants, hair, and butter left on the tables. We chose to leave and have breakfast elsewhere. Overall, this stay did not meet basic standards of comfort or hygiene for a normal, and we cannot recommend this hotel.

Not a fan

The lobby is pretty but the rooms need updating. There were spiders on one bed when we arrived so my son would not sleep there. Booked for 2 nights but left after 1.

Good place to stay along the Riverside. The bed was very comfortable. It rained a lot during my stay and a crack in the wall above the window leaked profusely. I mentioned it to staff but, they didn't seem concerned about it. Oh, well. Wifi, a/c & hot water were all excellent.

We checkin and went to our room, it smell muddy and humid. My family didn’t like it, so we checkout right away and move to an US hotel Marriott. Any way we can get a refund?

Nice Staff and Good Location Hotel

Nice and helpful staffs, the best staffs serve to us so far we have staying in Da Nang. The room is superb hot during noon-time, it has to full power on the Air-cond. It might be the room was the corner unit with 2 panels of big glasses that absorbs full of sun lights. Other than that, it's a great hotel with nice location.

Pros - Walk in distance to night market, Han Market, restaurants & shopping. Great customer service. Nice & kind staffs. Cons - We stayed room 904. many mold damages, bad odors., dirty bathroom. Asked to change rooms. We switched to room 803. Little better but same issuesm This hotel has many defferred maintenance issues. Broken shower knobs, leaking shower head, etc. But the staffs were really nice and willing to help us. Many thanks to them!

2/10 Poor

The hotel photos are nothing like this is person. The rooms are in incredible disrepair. The water damage to the floors under the windows in our room has the flooring lifting and slidding. You can pull the pieces up there is so much damage. The window also does not close fully. There are little fly-like bugs and cocoons in the bathroom. There is a lot of mould in the bathroom. The gap between the tub and the wall has enough dead bugs and dust accumulated that you know it has not been cleaned in a very long time. The water pressure is no existent. The water is coming out of the hose rather then the nozzle. The drainage in the bathroom is poor. There is a bathtub but there is more water pooling on the floor outside the tub. There is also no where to hang your towels after a shower. The baseboards and corners of the room have not been cleaned in a long time. The rooms are stale and musky from lack of air flow when no one is in the rooms. The service is not good either. The room we had booked was double booked and we ended up downgraded from what we had intended. The power for the entire hotel has been out for over 4 hours. We will have to hike up 8 flights back to our room. We also check out soon and our luggage is going to need to be carried down 8 flights of stairs with two kids in tow. The phone lines in the hotel do not work. There is something in the hotel manual that they have back up power and the backup generator is not working. This is a do not return to hotel.

i have experienced in this place for 4-5 days, i will not come back, the management staff is not good, they woke me up at 8am to clean the room, we are not happy about that, when i When checking out, the manager fined me 250,000 VND, just because of one dirty towel and we didn't do anything wrong with that towel. When I checked out, they were very slow in checking and they forgot the paperwork. It's my personal choice, I don't have time to go back and get it

Stay away not worth the money

This hotel is located next to several clubs that blast music late into the night. Our room was on the 8th floor and it sounded lije we were in the club. The room and property are tired and in need of updating. You have to flip a switch and wait 15 minutes to get hot water in the shower and the shower is a hand held in a bathtub with no door or curtain. Starting at 6am, housekeeping started talking in the hall and knocking on doors waking us up. The breakfast was cold, stale and inedible. Luckily we only stayed 1 night and i couldn't wait to leave. Terrible nights sleep, no shower or breakfast. There were several other options available at lower prices that im sure were better. Pass on this one. I selected it because of it location by the river and the rooftop pool. Both those reasons could be found elsewhere.

Tne property was not a reflection of the description in the property listing. The place has seen better days and looks worn out and rundown. The bathroom was terrible, only 1 light, there was a bad smell coming from the sink drain and the caulking where the wall tile meets the floor was grossly discolored yellow. The included breakfast on the first morning was was basically toast, veggies and pho. When i asked if they were going to fill the warming equipment with food the response was no and gave the reason as "there's not enough guests to do the full breakfast" The location is great but the street the hotel is on has a sewer smell along the entire length for blocks. The odd thing is if you cross the street to the river boardwalk there is no smell at all. You can see the dragon bridge if you have a room with a view and its a short walk to go and see it up close. There is a night market across the street from the front of the dragon head. The water pressure is awesome in the shower. The skyview bar, pool and area on the top floor has not been maintained and looks grundgy and does not look as depicted in photos. Overall dissapointed in the place for the price they charge.

Hotel is centrally located, which is good. Besides this, I can not say I would recommend it. We were not provided with our original booking. We booked for a family room with two bedrooms and 3x beds. I am a light sleeper and so we searched the internet thoroughly with the sole aim of booking a three bed accommodation. They did not provide this. They informed us that there are no suites in their whole hotel that has three beds. I showed them the listing that I booked. They said it was an error with Expedia not them. The booking also listed free welcome drinks and free dinner for one. These were also not provided. One would think that they would have informed Expedia of the error and corrected it asap to avoid any future confusion and more importantly dissatisfaction from guests. But at the time of writing this review ( a week after check out) the same room with the same description can still be booked. I really wondered if I have been lied to. Besides the hotel lobby area, the rooms and other parts of the hotel (restaurant etc) are tired and desperately need a refresh. As for the two bedroom configuration, this was simply a room divided by a three quarter high wall. Overall, the stay was disappointing and definitely did not match the photos or the description of the booking we made.

After staying several weeks in Vietnam and in several different hotels, I must say that this has been the worst experience.  First off, as soon as you walk into the front doors it’s like a burning oven. You can barely stand the heat that I would much rather stand outside.  The next issue is, if my friend and I are paying for a room with two beds and we are paying PER person , it is unacceptable that we do not get two room keys. Even after requesting for an extra key, as every other hotel I’ve been to here in Vietnam have given without even requesting, the lady at the front said they could not and that the manager was out. Ridiculous.  Now onto the rooms. Just as the lobby, I could not stand the heat in the room. It was a struggle every day to fall asleep.  When showering, don’t expect there to be warm water. Even after changing the shower knob in different directions, the water temperature stays the same. Mind you, the cold water might be a good thing for you in your hot and sweaty room!! The first day, the lock safe did not work. Another thing to note, this safe is very light weight that anyone can pick up and take away. Nonetheless, the safe had no battery. After calling reception and getting someone sent over. They put in a new battery and left. I tried the safe again. The battery now worked, but the safe door would not open and unhinge. Called the reception again, they came over and also could not get it opened. Had to exchange a new safe.  Cheap quality of
