Pros: 1- extremely great and accessible location 2- great and friendly staff, great manager (i made a mistake in my booking and my whole trip shifted one day, they changed my reservation with no cost which happens rarely in Italy) 3- great breakfast 4- reasonable price for what you get Cons: 1- although they clean the room everyday but still feels very old and messy. It was totally fine for us since hotel is just a place to sleep for us and we dont want to pay too much for hotel. But if you prefer more luxurious places then pick another place 2- the bed was not very comfortable for us, i prefer more firm mattress but this one was very soft and I got back pain

Great location in Firenze

I stayed here for three nights as part of a holiday through northern Italy. The hotel is on the 4th floor, and there is an elevator. The location is excellent - a few steps from the cathedral and close to other main sights in town. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the room had everything I needed. Having breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the cathedral was a nice bonus. Will recommend.

Elio was a fantastic host. The furniture in our room could use updating as it is worn out. The night stand lamps flicker because the switches are worn out. The view of the Duomo was top notch. The Villani is in a great location in the center city for all your shopping and sight-seeing needs. We would definitely stay there again. I wish there were better parking accomodations though. You can't have everything.
