Our stay was very disappointing. For this type of hotel, we expected much better service and cleanliness—it felt more like an inn. The elevator floor was full of crumbs, and the hallway to the rooms had lots of ladybugs and mosquitoes. Inside our room, there were ladybugs around the balcony door frame and mosquitoes flying everywhere. When we reported it, the receptionist (who was also the cleaner) asked us to wait outside while she “cleaned,” but the bugs were still there afterward. She said all rooms were the same and none were available. After a long drive, we ended up cleaning the room ourselves with a vacuum she lent us. The room was missing listed items like wine glasses and a wine bucket. There were no basics like tea bags, body lotion, or hand soap. The water dispenser was broken, with no hot only cold water was available. The restaurant was also disappointing. Both steaks were cooked unevenly—half medium, half well-done—and the seafood gratin came without the garlic bread mentioned on the menu. Staff didn’t even inform us or offer an alternative until we asked. Overall, very poor service and low standards. The only good thing was that the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean.

Belle endroit avec chambre spacieuse, propre et tranquille. Seul bémol fut à notre arrivée. Etant donné que nous sommes arrivés après 21h00, il n'y avait plus personne à la réception. Nous devions donc utiliser la borne permettant d'obtenir la carte pour la chambre. Malheureusement, la borne était défectueuse. Room was clean, the view on the golf from out room was nice, easy check in and check out. Slight disappointment thought: We requested a late check out for the day we were leaving (we wanted to leave at noon instead of 11:00) and the employee at the front desk declined the request saying it was a busy day the day after and they were low staff (which is understandable). What’s disappointing is that when we left the room for check out, while awaiting to leave our cards at the front desk, we were discussing randomly with another employee who was telling us it was a quiet at the hotel so we could have checked out later… We also feel that we have been wronged when we booked the room with expedia.ca : the pictures displayed of the room we reserved and the picture un the confirmation as well was misrepresentation. As a mater of fact, there was a beautiful bathtub in the room on the picture, that justified the price we were willing to pay for the room and when we arrived in out room, there was no bathtub, only a shower. I was looking forward to that for a relaxing morning, but it was impossible for me to have a bath in the room we were assigned to. As we arrived late, it was impossible to ask for help to change the room. I am not sure I will book with expedia again unfortunately…

La chambre était très poussiéreuse à notre arrivée, porte de douche pleine de tache de savon et que dire des couvre-lits les plus répugnants que j’ai vu. Ils les avaient cachés avec un drap blanc en nous couchant le drap s’est levé pour nous faire voir un couvre-lit très sale, noir tout autour. Pour tout le reste c’était bien. L’endroit est magnifique avec sa vu et son calme. Le personnel est poli et attentionné. J’ai adoré le mini-putt sur le site il est amusant mais surtout beau et original.
