Value for money, this is an excellent deal. The free breakfast is generous and good. would have to pay about $20 for a breakfast like this in a diner. You'll have to drive to the breakfast facility, but it's in downtown Rhinebeck, so not inconvenient. Check-in is offsite as well. At the Village Inn, there are no amenities. Not even ice or snack machines, so be prepared.

Horrible hotel! The smell of musty mold is overwhelming when you walk in the room. There was a moldy coffee pod in the coffee machine. Our sink had a drain problem, which the staff attempted to fix and just left the sink snake in the garbage. On the day we checked out the sink had sprung a leak. We called the front desk to report it and they didn't seem to concerned. We left with the leak spraying into the garbage can with all the towels around it. The bathroom light fixture was exposed, with no cover on it and the link/mold/debris around the motor and light were gross. When I booked the property it looked like it was located in town, it was actually 1/2 mile down the street from town. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast because it was 1/2 mile away at a different hotel and opened so late it didn't work with our schedule. The bed and bedding were comfortable and the room, linens and towels were clean, so we stayed at for the two nights we booked, but we'll never go back.

It is actually a bit outside of town and you check-in at a separate hotel IN town. It was easy enough to get the key. The room was clean and spacious, bare bones, but cozy. Breakfast is continental and also off site, but coffee and cereal available. We had a small issue, not hotel related, and the hotel staff was outstanding and accommodating. Would recommend.

We didn't see anyone in The Villaje Inn during our stay. You have to do the check in and check out in the near by Hotel Beekman Arms and that was a nigthmare for us because because we arrive a 10:30pm. The walking distance is 15minutes. The property is ok if you only want to sleep there. The beds are comfortable but tv doesn't work properly, nor the A/C. For the price is ok. The complemantary breakfast is ok.
