A notre arrivée elle nous dit que toutes les chambres sont prises elle nous amène à un autre hôtel équivalent en confort et propreté qui était très bien. Par contre plus éloigné du centre. Au moins le service était top et nous avons bien dormi.

Go elsewhere

I would not recommend this guest house. The beds were hard, the bathroom full of mildew and there was no place to put your suitcases. While the air-conditioning worked it was extremely noisy. The breakfast tables were filthy and one had a large piece of glass missing. The staff were pleasant enough but with very limited English. We checked out 3 days early even though we had pre-paid. There are much better places to stay in Luang Prabang. I worried about security as the front desk was often unmanned and the keys were just left on the desk, just a few feet from the street. There was nothing positive about this guest house except the location.

A bit over rated. Maybe it considered good by backpackers or western tourists who feel that they are getting a real feel of "backward" Asia. Apart from the friendly staff there is not much to shout about the hotel. Room is not really very clean. There is no wardrobe or rack for clothes or luggage, so we really live out of out bags daily. Linen and towel well worn and have seen better days. Smell from next door restaurant comes through in the room. Staff are good at apologising for when there is no bottles of water or when they ran out of fruits for breakfast, without compensating or replacing with something else. Guess the guest are forgiving. Well it is a good stay if you are not really particular about good or clean standard. Shouldn't really complain if you consider that room rate is cheap.

Bonne localisation proximité rivière et restaurants du centre-ville ainsi que de tous les centres d’intérêts de la ville. Wifi connexion difficile car très lente. Utilisation laborieuse pour transférer des photos. Petit-déjeuner sous forme de sets proposant une dizaine de choix comprenant deux plats locaux. Chambre supérieure double, climatisée avec ventilateur plafonnier. Literie confortable, table de chevet pas d’armoire mais patère avec des cintres, table à deux plateaux supportant téléviseurs chaînes câbles. Salle de bain, douche eau chaude. Personnel sympathique et discret. Je recommande cet hôtel pour son rapport qualité prix et sa localisation.

Kinnaly place

The staff at this location were great. We did notice a few issues with our room but I do not think these were the fault of the staff. A few bugs that we didn't think much of. The breakfast was fantastic in the mornings and it was a delight to have it included for the cost. If you are on a budget I highly suggest booking this place, just give your room a good run through to make sure there aren't any major issues. The location of this hotel was fantastic. Really easy to get to any of the major places in Luang Prabang.

２泊しました。チェックインの際、ウェルカムドリンクとカットバナナを頂き、また周辺の簡単な説明をしてくれました。ホテルの隣が売店なのも便利です。ホテルの前を托鉢が通ります、自分は通路側の部屋でしたが部屋のベランダからゆったり見る事も出来ます。冷蔵庫は無し、室内床やベッドにはダニ？アリ？みたいな小さいのがチョロチョロいます。夜、付けっぱなしにしていたエアコンから突然水漏れが起こり、エアコン消したら水漏れも止まりました。夜１１時くらいでホテルの入り口ドアが閉まりますが強引に開けるか、もしくはガタガタやってれば従業員が開けてくれます。帰りが１９時の飛行機でしたが、チェックアウトした後でも１階のシャワー（兼トイレの）を使わせてくれました。従業員はとても親切な印象です。

Great place, bad wifi

Service was good at the front desk. The brought our bags up to our room when it was ready since we arrived early and were looking around town. Booked us a good tour to the waterfall. Great location close to everything, this was the best. Had a problem with hot water which was quickly fixed. Only problems were really awful wifi connection (kept disappearing and being unavailable) and the room smelled like moth balls. Overall I really enjoyed our stay

Great location, helpful staff

When visiting places, we like to walk to attractions. The location of this hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. It is just a few minutes to the Royal Palace, to the Mount Phou Si, to the morning and night markets. In addition, the staff was very helpful. On the day of our departure in the evening, it was very hot. The staff offered us to take a shower even though we had already checked out. We would also like to take this opportunity to apologize to the cleaning lady. One day, after coming back to our hotel room from a short walk, we could not find one of our cell phones anywhere. We talked to the reception who called in the cleaning lady. After more careful check, the phone was finally found in one of our bags where we would never thought we could have stored the phone. We felt extremely sorry for the lady and would express our sincere apology. We learnt the lesson.

Good location. Simple arrangements. Nice staff.

Positives: location - close to everything without being super noisy. Made to order breakfast. Balcony (only few rooms have those). Nice and helpful staff. Big bed. Negatives: no closet space and only few places to hang things. Even with basic room, few nice hooks and hangers would be very helpful. Shower room has a drain by the door, so an entire floor will be wet after shower. Instant coffee - easily solved by walking few blocks to Saffron Coffee. Conclusion: price was reasonable, cheaper than most in the area. There are a lot more guests houses in this area which we like a lot. I would look around for an other place if I visit again.

Horrible Owner and false advertisement

This was the worst accommodation I have ever stayed at. I usually do not leave bad review but this place is horrible. The owner argued with me that I did not book a place with a balcony when I know I did because that was the only reason why I booked this place. She kept arguing with me when I told her on the first day and asked me to show her the booking. When I finally showed here the booking, and it clearly said on there that all room have balconies. However, she still goes on to deny it. She said well go to Expedia because she expected me to go and check her booking on Expedia as well. I understand Expedia and Orbitz are the same but nobody ever booked on one site and go to another site to check. I don't understand the logic at all. I don't appreciate her making me feel like it's my fault when it is clearly not. I booked a room with a balcony and did not get one. Instead of just admitting that her listing is wrong and apologize, she kept harassing me and overall just make me feel very unwelcoming. Not only that, I put sign "Please do not disturb" and they still came into my room. What is the point of having the sign up. And her staffs do not speak very good English so the day I left early, I was not able to communicate with them I do not want to stay here any longer due to the way the owner made me feel. The owner is clearly only after money and do not have any social skill. This place deserve -10. Book at your own risk!

Comfortable hotel, great location

Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the location for this hotel is hard to beat-quiet street right in the center of the old quarter. We also enjoyed the customer service and tasty breakfast cooked to order every morning. Would definitely recommend!
