We have stayed here while visiting family in the area before. We’ll be back. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Bathroom well set up for senior though floor in room needs small repair. Breakfast is very nice continental breakfast—fresh fruit as well as wonderful yogurt beyond cook your own waffles.

We were able to walk to town an even saw a black bear crossing the road! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We liked the quiet ambient music. Nice staff. Provided breakfast was good for what it was with numerous options. Only complaint was the floor in our room. Vinyl flooring, which is fine, but had obviously not been washed well in some time. Our socks were BLACK after walking around on the floor. Kind of gross, especially with a four-year-old who doesn't understand why you don't want her playing on the floor.

I already did here in the bathtub, which is disgusting. The bed look like it was slept in. I felt like I was gonna get bedbugs and there were stains on the sheets that needs a paint job desperately it was all scuffed up around the trim and the doors were dirty. The lock on the door was broken. I felt like I was staying in the Bates motel.

Updated and well-maintained hotel with fantastic staff. Highly recommend. It is relatively quiet. The only issue is mildly creaky floors. I only mention this because I know it’s an issue for some travelers.
