Wonderful property with absolutely excellent staff. The rooms are small per typical USA standards, but the overall experience was amazing. I would stay here again and highly suggest it for fellow travelers.

A great stay in Munich, quite close to all major visitor areas. Room was small but adequate. Not used to not having wardrobe space which means living out of a suitcase but overall not a real issue. Breakfast was ok, plenty of continental choices and some hot food. Would recommend for a short stay in Munich 👍

We were a group of 7 people staying at this hotel for a leisure trip and we absolutely loved the hotel. It is conveniently located close to the Munich central train station. The cleanliness was top notch. The decor and little details were really great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great little outdoor area to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails. Can't say enough good things about this hotel and it's staff.

Perfectly located close to the train station and easy to walk everywhere. Unlimited free serve yourself espresso machines in the lobby 24/7 with whole milk and oat milk and many coffee options as well as sparkling and still water on tap. We rented cute bikes from the desk and rode them to the English garden minutes away, so convenient! Darling decor as well, it even has a very lovely alpine themed outdoor patio with resident cats. You really can’t beat this place for ambiance on a budget.

This little hotel has it all. Convenience to the train station, clean and comfortable rooms. Spacious bathrooms and a super cool vibe. Alex at the front desk was wonderful and friendly and helped answer all our questions and concerns - we appreciate his kindness. The back of the restaurant has an outdoor garden not to be missed with its own residential stray cat that complements the cow theme. Breakfast was phenomenal and some of the best eggs and fresh European bread I’ve ever had. When we return to MUC, we would pick this place again. A little bit of alpine in the city. Thank you for all your hospitality.

6/10 Good

We were here for Oktoberfest and therefore paid way too much for a deluxe double room, but it is very conveniently located to the main train station in Munich and of course the Oktoberfest fairgrounds. Also some decent restaurants around, it’s an area for more eastern food. Cons: our toilet smelled like a sewer no matter how much flushing happened. Probably old pipes. No air conditioning. The bathroom had a translucent window so god forbid if you have to pee in the middle of the night, everyone else in the room gets light in their face. Pros: Staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is large and delicious. Despite being in the city centre and next to many construction cranes, the room was very quiet. The area is safe. Decor is cute.

Excellent clean room. Breakfast was outstanding with many many choices. The atmosphere is incredible with several places to be whether you wanna be indoors semi indoors or completely outdoors. The decor is colorful and very reminiscent of skiing in the Swiss Alps.

We had a great stay at Cocoon Munich Hauptbahnhof. The biggest advantage is its location. It's just a short walk from the main train station and subway, which made it incredibly easy to get around Munich and take day trips without wasting time on transportation. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and made a great base for exploring the city. The only downside was the breakfast. At €21 per person, per day, we found it a bit expensive. There are several excellent bakeries and grocery stores nearby where you can get a delicious breakfast for much less. Overall, this is an awesome place to stay, especially if you're planning to use public transportation. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
