Don’t be deceived - it’s not palace, not even a hotel - it’s a Guest House. No staff at the front desk and entering the building and room - goes through using codes. The so called ”lounge” and ”buffet” - is not how anyone would define it. But, that's not what you pay for - you pay for the location! You have ancient Rome just over the bridge and you have Trastevere's wide range of shops and restaurants. It doesn't matter that there is no breakfast - there are plenty of cozy cafes to go to. The owner is incredibly nice and service-minded. She will help you with restaurant tips and help you book a table. As long as you are aware what you are booking - this is a jewel.

I’ve stayed in several places and several areas in Rome and this one is very convenient and pleasant. Lovely updated spacious room I stayed in. Busy street in front but the rooms are sound proof enough from traffic. It is a 4 bedroom guest house not a hotel but there is super helpful staff at the front desk during the day for all the help you could need and more including plenty of advice on sites and food. They provided an early check in for me as it was available and watched my bags for me after checkout.

This place was super cute and I would definitely stay here again! Its located in right over the river which we ended up loving. Its a bit further away from the tourist-y stuff in the best way possible. Still walkable to the Colosseum and the Vatican (30-40 minutes) but tucked away enough that we felt like we were getting a more authentic experience. The host was super nice and helpful with recommendations and assistance in getting rides.
