The property offers convenient beach access, although some aspects of the facilities may require updating, such as the condition of the bathtubs. Our brief overnight stay was accommodated with a prompt request for fresh linens. The appeal of the location lies in its less-populated environment, which enhanced our enjoyment of the beach, sunrise, and evening walks.

Parking was easy. Hotel has nice sandy beach and pool. Not as bad as some reviews I saw but it is old and outdated and there are stains on carpet and furniture and some hallway areas not well vacuumed. Breakfast area clean and adequate. Nice pancake maker. Bed was clean and comfortable. Room comfortable.

Considering a lot of the reviews I was actually pleasantly surprised. It was pretty clean. A bit outdated but everything in our room worked. The beach area was nice. The pool area could have had some lounge chairs. All in all it was a decent stay. BBQ was not cleaned out so my husband cleaned it really well after we used it. I do think they need more trash receptacles by the beach and near BBQ area so people won't throw garbage all over the ground .

So I was there for a long weekend seeing my son. The room I had was dog friendly. It was clean but does need a up grade but I didn’t see any bugs or anything. So it was good. The breakfast is good if you like Carbs. The only other thing besides carbs was hard boiled egg. They could use some yogurt or something else. But the choice of Carbs was alot. ( bread , muffins , pancakes , English muffins , cereal, oatmeal. Bagels. ) The staff was very unhelpful when I arrived early. Wouldn’t even check to see if the room was ready. Now come on. You could have at least faked it. But after that encounter everything else was fine. They where not overly friendly but not rude as the first one So I would say it’s a decent place. Is it worth what I paid?. No I dont think so. But it’s a tourist town and it’s summer in Michigan. So everything is very expensive. But it was cheaper than the other bigger hotels around Maybe a non pet friendly room would be better. The halls and the there places where nice. I didn’t swim in the pool. But lots of people were. I didn’t go to the beach the weather was not good.
