Definately an older property, but it got the job done. The front desk staff that greated me gave some great advice about trails and was very friendly. It can be hard to travel with a larger family and it was nice that there were ample beds and privacy (we were in a suite). Super close to hiking trails and waterfalls. Lots of lakes and other small towns, such as Mt. Shasta, nearby.

The lady and I think her son is very helpful. The lady (owner?) even told us places to visit in the area. The lodge itself is really nice. My family really liked it and wished we could stay longer.

I was caught on the freeway with 4 separate incidents and construction that caused my normal 10 hour drive to be almost 18 hours. They kept the office open until I arrived. I really like the quiet and beauty of the area. They were very kind.

Cute older place. Small bathroom but very tidy. Nice grounds with picnic benches and an aviary with a koi pond! Quiet and easy on off freeway. Lots of trees.

Older drive-in type of motel, unique but there was a big group using the common backyard area for a party in the evening so we stayed in our room. Clean, simple room with air conditioning. We didn’t have pets with us but good to know that they allow them. Check in at the office was easy.
