Excellent location, friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms. Especially good for those who like old school motels (like myself) with a bit of charm and exterior doors.

Clean room, wonderful staff, light breakfast served. Parking is right outside you door and fabulous walking location to downtown Boyne and parks. All was wonderful for what we were expecting.

10/10 Exceptional

When we checked in, our receptionist offered breakfast items in advance since we had an early departure prior to the breakfast hours. The room was comfortable and clean. They included complimentary waters and kettle corn, too! The downtown area was just a short walk over the river for shopping and dining. We enjoyed our stay!

10/10 Exceptional

Great room close to the lake and shopping. The entire area was hit with damaging snow and ice all winter but the property owners must have worked extremely hard to keep up. The ice unit needs replaced, but besides that the beds were heaven, the parking lot was recently sealed and striped and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating.

6/10 Good

room was clean, checked in with a phone call and then was given a code for our room. The peron was nice. There was no ice machine, no continental breakfast, they did give you 2 waters in the fridge. We will not stay here again.

8/10 Very good

We stayed for 2 nights. Had an issue with the heat in our room the first night and they quickly moved us to a different room. Both rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly. We loved the popcorn in the room, it was a nice touch. The hotel is a great location to walk downtown Boyne. We would stay there again.

Last minute booking for a quick overnight. Everything was easy and comfortable. I arrived after the office was closed but I called and they sent me my room access code by text. Honestly, I like having an access code better than a key. I wasn't there very long but Boyne City looks charming. If I were staying a while I think the Boyne City Motel would be a good place to stay and enjoy the town. It was within walking distance of the shops with a nice park across the street, not far from Lake Charlevoix and had good parking.
