Lovely old building, room on the courtyard had giant ceiling and was well equipped. Weirdly, the entrance closed early(ish) and you had to enter via a side entrance to (I think) another hotel. The connection flooring was rather ropey. I couldn't work out where the bar was, but they did have 24-hr ice cream. There was nothing inherently wrong with it, and location-wise it was nice and central and on the main road, which made it simple to access. But also it wasn't anything overtly special. I didn't try dinner so can't comment; had breakfast once which was fine.

99 the Heritage is a beautiful and peaceful retreat in the middle of Chiang Mai’s Old City, directly across from Wat Phra Singh. Lovely rooms. The staff is courteous and very welcoming. We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff went above and beyond when my daughter left something important to her in the room and they arranged to send it on to our next hotel. Highly recommend.
