Great boutique hotel located conveniently for exploring Funchal. Special thank you to the staff who were very friendly and helpful. Pros: central location, stylish design, good breakfast, excellent rooftop bar. Cons: standard rooms are tiny and have very little light (would recommend standard plus instead), some rooms in need of refurbishment, facilities like pool were unavailable. Overall, I would recommended this place.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The highlight was the rooftop bar where we watched the sunset. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room unfortunately did not have good sound insulation and we could hear people from next door and also loud bangs whenever doors are closed.

This is my fourth time to Madeira but first time staying at this property . I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others . Very convenient, walking distance. The property is in good condition and the room, which the hotel kindly upgraded us to, was clean, spacious and bright. It was done in a minimalist design which was fine with us. However more hooks could be installed which would make it more user friendly. The breakfast was really good and the staff excellent. We definitely would stay there again. Recommended!
