All of the KyY State Parks are a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff is super nice. The restaurant offered delicious buffets and off the menu meals. Lots of opportunities to hike, see the sites. There are local restaurants, amenities and seasonal opportunities. Overall a great experience.

Great getaway for couples!

Weekend stay didn't disappoint! Great location near the Rough River Dam, with a view from our room that was absolutely beautiful. Check-in was fast, and the both the lodge and room were clean. A highlight was an American Eagle flying by the lodge during our morning coffee on the balcony. We will definitely be back!

The lake was beautiful. The room was ok. There's no refrigerator and the sheets were itchy. I didn't like how you have to walk outside and down stairs to get to your room door. The view from the room window was gorgeous. It was nice for a little get away. The staff was nice.

The rooms were very outdated. Worst of all is there was no mini fridge or microwave, so you had to go out for all meals. We were there over a holiday weekend. The dining room was open for all meals and the food was good, but you could not order one or two items from the menu. The wait staff were friendly.
