While I have been going to the Tabard Inn for more than fifty years, I had never stayed at the hotel, I will definitely stay again! And a BIG plus--it is within walking distance to my office!

Had a great stay at the Tabard Inn on a recent business trip to DC! I really enjoyed the old style of the building, eclectic decor, and artwork. Dining at the restaurant each night and for breakfast in the morning was very convenient and the meals were excellent! Highly recommend if you are looking for a different kind of stay in the city!

The hotel is funky and eccentric in a good way. There are winding stairways, wonderful art, very unique hotel. The restaurant was stellar. The funky part was that there was no hot water in the evening, but it was back in the morning. In another hotel, it would have been a deal breaker, but here it we chalked it up to its eccentric nature. I would recommend staying here.
