The space is beautifully and thoughtfully designed- a blend of transitional ryokan with modern comforts. The Onsen experience was wonderful and restorative, and we had a really restful sleep in the comfortable bed. Strong recommend, and hope to return again.

Highly recommend. The staff is superb, the room was well taken care of and very comfortable. The onsen is incredible. My wife and i stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We did in-room breakfast which was delicious, we also enjoyed one night of their dinning experience in the basment. The proximity to the train station is very convenient as well! -entrance is very welcoming, with live music, they take your shoes away (beware if you have stinky socks after long travel) -welcoming green tea is served, which is very nice, very traditional; -staff is amazing, super helpful; -agree with other reviewers - no flexibility- we needed some hard soap and they don’t provide it, I think 5 star hotel for that price with hospitality image as their main goal should provide any soap customer wants, you hardly can wash under your arms with super liquidy soap, why not provide a traditional Japanese herbal hard soap? I don’t think liquid soap is very convenient. - breakfast was really bad - we tried both Japanese and western style - and 2-3 star quality

This was a remarkable experience! From the moment you are greeted at the door of the hotel, you leave the hustle and bustle of Tokyo behind and you are immersed in an authentic ryokan experience. The private onsen on the top floor of the building really sets this hotel apart from other luxury hotels in Tokyo. The quality of the staff was excellent throughout, and although this hotel is in the main business district it is right next to the Otemachi metro station and about 15 min walk to the main Tokyo station so the transport links are excellent.

Lovely stay for a week with my partner. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the dining experience, kinjutsu practice and massage, whilst the onsen added a relaxing space after a busy day of sightseeing! The hotel is located in the financial district so not as much going on in the weekend but more touristy spots easily accesible via taxi.
