The hotel have no fridge in the rooms, the AC wasn’t working, I notified the front desk about the Ac at least 5 times, maintenance only came up twice and didn’t bother checking the AC. They didn’t even ask if I wanted to switch rooms due to the ac issue. Just terrible. I’ve had better accommodations at smaller name hotels. The breakfast is a joke. Muffin, fruit and juice is what they give for breakfast.

The hotel location was perfect for a tourist trip! We were central to everything with easy subway, train and walking access. The room was newly renovated and clean but many broken items in the room! We mentioned these but no action was taken to rectify this. I still think this was a good value for central NY!

Incredibly overpriced, breakfast was a brown bag with a muffin and coffee, and no place to sit except on your spring bed back in your grab bedroom. The halls had peeling paint in the elevators were very slow with apparently only one working. We were able to check our bags for late departure. Location was good but overall a very bad expensive experience.

Totally got catfished! Hotels.com uses mostly the premium room pictures! The standard rooms are aweful! Ac broke, wallpaper peeling off, fifthly, I felt like I was in a horror movie at a super 8 from 1991. Hotel location is good and premium rooms are probably fine!!! Do not stay in standard rooms they are inhabitable!!!! It’s so bad!!!

no geral, foi ok, mas tiveram diversos contratempos. primeiro, as fotos do hotel não eram nem de longe a realidade do hotel. fui enganado pelas fotos. quando chego no meu quarto, o ar condicionado não estava funcionando. liguei na recepção e disseram que mandariam um engenheiro, mas ele nunca chegava. depois de muito tempo liguei denovo, e ainda demorou muito para o engenheiro chegar e trocar as pilhas do ar. 2 dias depois o ar parou de funcionar novamente, provavelmente por terem trocado as pilhas por outras usadas. chamei novamente a recepção mas o engenheiro nunca apareceu. tive eu mesmo que comprar as pilhas e fazer a troca. 3 dias depois o detector de fumaça começou a apitar, também por falta de pilha. chamei a recepção e provavelmente por medo de ter alguma fumaça, o engenheiro apareceu depois de uns 20 minutos, mas 2 dias depois, o detector voltou a apitar, certamente pelo mesmo motivo de não trocar por pilha nova. para não perder tempo, comprei novamente a pilha e eu mesmo fiz a troca. o carpete do quarto estava imundo. a equipe de limpeza não fazia limpeza, somente arrumava a cama. nem o lixo nas lixeiras eram recolhidos com frequencia. eu fiquei sem body wash toda minha estadia, nunca repuseram. tive que pedir sabonete no corredor.

Quando fiz a reserva, fiquei em um dos quartos antigos do hotel. Esses quartos são nojentos. Não há qualquer sinal de limpeza. Parecem um chiqueiro. É totalmente inviável dormir neles. Logo desci a recepção e solicitei uma troca de quartos, onde me colocaram em quartos mais novos. Tive que pagar 50 U$ por diária. Não recomendo jamais pegar os quartos antigos, somente os reformados. Se for para pegar os antigos, aconselho olhar outro hotel. No quarto reformado, o chuveiro também era péssimo, não tinha pressão. O hotel precisa urgente de um reforma e avaliação.

I booked an upgraded room and was told all of the updated rooms were book. The room was poorly cleaned and had an odor. I would not have booked this hotel if the room was not the upgraded one.

As I'm writing this I can't help notice the picture that came up with the hotel listing. It was so different from the room I had, I decided to look up this hotel again and see if hotels.com is using a stock image. As I reviewed the pictures, I realized this was NOT the hotel I stayed at on the website, just a fantasy. Only a couple bathroom pictures on hotels (with the pink tile and the old shabby vanity) were accurate. The rest, all AI, or rendering of what they might look like assuming a renovation. I should have taken pictures to share, my bad. That said, THE GOOD: great location, excellent access to subway, if you're going to shows or visit times square you can't go wrong for the location. The staff seemed very friendly, and many other guests clearly were staying there. The BAD: thin walls (could hear every door slam in the morning, security called middle of night for a noisy neighbor), wallpaper in the room was peeling, hallways shabby, dingy, drywall debris outside the door stayed >48 hours, just an overall dingy feeling. My 2nd day I noticed a temp construction wall on the outside that advertised Crowne Plaza, permits, and had an AI rendering, much like the photos on this site, of what the hotel will look like in Aug 2025. My room key also had the Crowne Plaza icon on the back of it among other major hotel brands. IF Crowne is rebranding this hotel, there's a LOT of work to do in the next 2 months to bring it up to standards I'd expect from Crowne Plaza.

The location of the hotel was excellent. The hotel is minutes away from Times Square. We were able to walk to Times Square . The condition of the room could have been better. The carpet was dirty and there were stains the the tub. The furniture was outdated and old. The room does not have a microwave or refrigerator and the ice machine was not working at the time. In my opinion, the rooms needs to be updated and provide better amenities for the customers. I expected more out of the hotel because of the price I paid for a three day stay. The amenities does not equal the expensive cost of the hotel.
