Good Basic Motel

Good basic older updated motel, clean room, comfortable, microwave and refrigerator. Very busy night of stay so parking was tight but available, just not in front of room. Overall, good quality for the price. No breakfast, but that is typical for most Salida motels.

Salida Motel

Check in experience was a hoot, abrupt and sharp but I found it funny. The room was basic but fine for an overnight stay but no longer than that. Great pub next door for food and drinks and Salida is a nice town to visit

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The pool was a bonus, warm and relaxing, not cold like most hotel pools. It’s a not in the downtown area. I chose this hotel because it is a short walk to a coffee shop, a brewery, and the Hot Springs Aqua Center.

Room was close to the free trolley which will take you shopping area downtown and the Stanley Hoel. Room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Entrance to the hotel could be better marked.

Strong cleaner smell

Decent place. My only real complaint is the strong fabuloso (or similar scented cleaner) in the room. Overpowering odors like this are never associated with true cleanliness, but covering something up.

On the main St so getting around was easy. Room was excellent. As a couple with phones, oxygen, and 2 cpap machines we were pleasantly surprised to find many surge protectors, so plugging in was easy.
