A drab and beige hotel, with mediocre to bad food and completely non-English speaking staff. Good location but that’s literally all that it has going for it. Way too expensive for what it offers. Would not stay there again.

AB Hotel Nara is a quick walk from Nara station. The rooms are very minimalist but enough to get the job done. They have washing facilities on site however the dryer was not very good. None of the staff members I spoke to could speak English but with Google translate and some hand gestures you will be fine. I would stay here again.

駅至近で立地が良く、過不足無い設備でしたが、一点改善を望みたいことがありました。ブッフェスタイルの朝食会場のレイアウトです。ご飯や味噌汁をつぐ釜などが置かれている場所が角の奥まったところで、そこでどうしても宿泊客が（ご飯をついだり味噌汁に好みの具を足すのに時間がかかるので）大渋滞となる訳です。素人目にも、レイアウトを工夫すればもっとスムーズになるのにと悲しくなりました。支配人クラスの方が誰も気づかないのか、働いているスタッフも気づかないのか、宿泊施設としての"やる気の無さ"はこういうところに現れると思います。がっかりしました。
