Really enjoyed our time at Sherwood the last few nights. We had a 2 bed apartment next to the restaurant. The rooms are a little older, a bit quaint but very cosy. Beautiful view from the back windows across the lake. Stairs were really creaky and loud, not ideal when having to go downstairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Parking can get full in the early evening on Friday and Saturday night if there is an event on. Dinner at the Sherwood restaurant was amazing, recommend the Wagyu bavette. They do also have a limited kids menu - flatbreads and pasta. Location was great, in the middle between the airport and town, which was perfect for us as we had a car.
